A national invitation to shape the future of work — together.
Jobs & Skills Month is a collaborative, not-for-profit initiative led by Jobs and Skills Australia, in partnership with stakeholders across the jobs and skills system. The month will highlight the important role the jobs and skills system plays in supporting individuals, communities, industries and Australia’s economy.
Success doesn’t follow a single path
Every Australians journey through learning and work is shaped by different opportunities, experiences, and aspirations. Under the 2026 theme, Pathways to success, Jobs & Skills Month shines a light on those diverse journeys and the people and organisations helping Australians navigate them.

2026 theme: Pathways to success
The 2026 theme, ‘Pathways to success’, recognises that there is no single route through education and work. People move between study, training, and employment at different stages of life, and a connected system helps make these transitions clearer and more accessible. In its inaugural year, Jobs & Skills Month highlights the many ways Australians navigate learning and work, and the importance of strengthening the pathways that support Australia’s future.
Throughout the month, organisations will come together to:
- share ideas and insights
- showcase programs and initiatives
- build stronger connections across sectors
- support informed decisions about education, training, and careers.
