Australia’s inaugural Jobs & Skills Month is underway, bringing the jobs and skills community together across October and November to celebrate what is working and strengthen the pathways between learning and work.
The 2026 theme Pathways to Success recognises that there is no single route through education and work.
Australians move between study, training and employment at different stages of life. These journeys are shaped by different opportunities, experiences and aspirations, as well as changes in our economy and world of work.
A connected jobs and skills system can help make these transitions clearer and more accessible.
Jobs & Skills Month creates dedicated time to focus on that work.
From 20 October to 20 November, organisations will share ideas and insights, showcase programs and initiatives, and build connections across sectors to better support outcomes for Australians.
Events and activities will take place across the country and online, including panels, career activities, data releases, networking events and webinars.
More events and activities will be added throughout Jobs & Skills Month, creating new opportunities to take part across October and November.
Organisations and individuals across Australia are invited to get involved by attending or hosting an event and contributing to Jobs & Skills Month.
