J&SM event hosted by UNSW

Pilots to Pathways will explore the evolution of the UNSW Skills Passport from an Arts, Design & Architecture pilot into a university-wide initiative supporting students to recognise, develop and articulate transferable skills.

The event will include a presentation on the Skills Passport’s origins, purpose and development, followed by a discussion of the insights, challenges and opportunities involved in scaling an educational innovation. Speakers and contributors will share perspectives on skills recognition, employability, student development and the connections between higher education, industry and government.

Attendees will be invited to consider how institutions can create clearer pathways for students to communicate the capabilities they develop through study, work, volunteering, extracurricular activities and lived experience.

Accessibility support will be available to attendees, including an accessible venue and opportunities to request reasonable adjustments or additional support during registration. Further details about speakers, the venue and accessibility arrangements will be confirmed closer to the event.

Invite only.
