Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) can provide quicker pathways to success for learners. For decades, RPL has been a paperwork heavy process requiring candidates to map their experience and knowledge against training package requirements.
This webinar brings together three experts in the space who ask you to contemplate what’s possible for the RPL process, using technology to deliver recognition of prior learning in a consistent, easier to quality assure, credible and scalable model.
Together, we’ll explore the National TAFE Network projects that aim to reimagine RPL with candidate’s actual skills, experience and currency at the centre of the assessment judgement, whilst staying firmly within existing regulatory settings.
Facilitated by National TAFE Network Coordination Hub Executive Lead, Andrew Williamson, this event brings together panellists from TAFE and Government. You'll hear from:
- Angela Ryan, National TAFE Network Program Manager, Canberra Institute of Technology
- Kaz Harris-Brown, Executive Director, TAFE Centre of Excellence Construction Tech, TAFE Queensland
- Anthony Barkey, Assistant Director Registration, Australian Skills Quality Authority.
