Creating opportunities. Building connections. Supporting long-term career success.

As part of the inaugural Jobs & Skills Month 2026, join the National Apprentice Employment Network (NAEN) and GTNT Group for a free virtual discussion exploring how inclusive employment and training initiatives are creating opportunities and strengthening Australia's future workforce.

This session brings together two programs supporting different communities but sharing a common goal: helping people overcome barriers, access opportunities and build sustainable careers.

NAEN ISEP Central Australia supports Indigenous young people aged 15–19 living in Town Camps in Alice Springs to access employment pathways and opportunities.

Together We RISE supports women apprentices and trainees to enter, remain and progress in traditionally male-dominated industries through mentoring, peer connection and industry engagement.

During the session, we'll explore:

  • How ISEP and RISE are creating employment and training opportunities
  • Challenges and barriers faced by participants in each program
  • The importance of mentoring, connection and ongoing support
  • How industry and community partnerships can strengthen employment pathways
  • Practical lessons for building a more inclusive and skilled workforce

There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and join the discussion.
