ID Connect has now supported 810 people across seven events in the Darling Downs, helping people access the identification and services they need for work, training and everyday life.

Since the first event in Toowoomba, ID Connect has travelled to Goondiwindi, St George, Roma and, most recently, Chinchilla, Dalby and Oakey!

Behind the numbers are individual stories of people resolving several barriers in one visit, getting the documents they need to pursue work or training, and reconnecting with essential services. The impact has also extended beyond the event days, helping identify service gaps, improve understanding of access barriers and contribute to more responsive services and outreach in local communities.

ID Connect grew from the Darling Downs Indigenous Workforce Action Group (IWAG), with each event shaped by local partnerships and community input.
