Want to tackle a real-world challenge and help shape the future of careers in Australia?

Join CareerPathHack, the inaugural hackathon of Jobs & Skills Month, and spend a day collaborating with fellow innovators, students, industry experts and problem-solvers to create solutions that could make a real difference.

Together, we'll take on one big challenge:

How can we make information about jobs, skills and career pathways easier for Australians to understand, compare and use when making career decisions?

Whether you’re an innovative thinker, or are passionate about education, workforce development, technology or creating positive change, this is your opportunity to contribute fresh ideas and help improve the way Australians navigate their future.

Why join CareerPathHack?

At CareerPathHack, you'll:

  • solve a meaningful real-world national challenge
  • develop and pitch innovative solutions
  • connect with leaders across the jobs and skills ecosystem
  • help create new pathways to success for all Australians.

Enjoy a fully catered, accessible event and a day of collaboration, creativity and problem-solving.

What to expect

CareerPathHack is a fast-paced, collaborative event where participants work together to explore a challenge, generate ideas and develop practical solutions in just one day.

You'll be supported throughout the experience by mentors and facilitators who will help teams refine ideas, test assumptions and prepare their final pitch.

Register on your own or with a team. If you're coming solo, we'll help connect you with other participants so you can collaborate on the day.

Who should attend?

You don't need to be a coder or tech expert to attend. Despite the name, there will be no breaking into computer systems required!

The hackathon is open to people aged 18+.

Participation is free and places are limited, so register early to secure your spot. Don’t miss out!
